Please join us on Thursday, October 17th at The Appleton Museum of Art to celebrate our 12th Annual Applaud the Arts! Enjoy an evening of delicious tapas, cocktails, interactive art experiences and music by DJ Big Bert and help us honor our 2019-2020 Cultural Grant and Arts Awards Recipients.
To date, we have given over $310,000 to local arts organizations in Marion County. Your support of this event will help raise that amount, enabling us to do even more for our community, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Cocktail attire is requested. We will enjoy the beauty of the courtyard and the Appleotn’s cafe for our celebration.
MCA’s Mission:To Champion, Convene and Create Opportunities for Artists and Arts Organizations
You will hear, see, and enjoy a variety of unique art forms making this an evening that will be long remembered. And, you certainly won’t go hungry as there will be plenty of tapas from our Community Restaurant Partners. You will also enjoy several interactive arts experiences including recreating this whimsical Appleton elephant by local favorite Maggie Weekly. Music by DJ Big Bert and maybe even some pop up sing-a-longs!
Of course, we will announce our annual MCA cultural grants and MCA arts awards in a less than traditional way.
Tickets are $60 ($50 for MCA members, $25 for member artists and arts organizations)
